Teenage Pregnancy

There is now an increase in teenage pregnancy in American society due to major change in the out look and attitudes of Americans. Most of the social stigma attached to unwed motherhood has been removed. Now unmarried women are openly having children on regular basis which was unheard of few generations ago. Now the women do not feel the need to marry after becoming pregnant. Lack of education is being cited as one of the major reason for this move. According to a research conducted by John Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, it has come to notice that pregnancy in teenagers lead to many unwarranted health risks both in the mother and the child.
